As soon as the drywall in the home is completed, you will again be invited to visit and walk the home with the builder. We have found this stage is helpful to buyers in planning the furnishings of their homes.
If you are unable to visit your new home’s construction site, we electronically document these key construction stages and will review these with you at your convenience.
Before you are invited to your new home orientation, your home will go through our quality assurance program to ensure that its construction quality and finishes meet the rigorous standards set by Classic Homes.
Upon acceptance of the home by the builder, and after your home has received a Certificate of Occupancy, you will be invited to our extensive new home orientation. At this time you will receive warranties related to various components and systems in your home along with the preventive maintenance manual for your home. This will ensure that the home and its systems are fully explained to you.
In the first month of occupancy, we will gladly help with any items in your home that may need adjustment. During the first 12 months of ownership, at your request we offer a one-time return assistance program to catch any items such as caulking cracks, touching up grout joints, adjusting door strike plates, or other routine maintenance items that occurred during the first year of heating and cooling the home.
In addition to the one-year warranty on materials and workmanship, mechanical systems will be warranted for 2 years and all major structural systems will be warranted for 10 years. At closing, you will receive a 2-10 year extended warranty on your home, purchased by Classic Homes in your name.
